Unity in Vegas

Heyyyy football fans and fellow team parents!

I’m thrilled to share the incredible adventure our team had at the West Coast National Championships in Las Vegas. From booking flights and hotels for over 70 people to the exhilarating experiences we shared, this trip was one for the books!

**Booking the Big Trip**

Imagine coordinating travel for 70+ excited players, parents, and coaches. Some who had never been inside of an airport before! It was a logistical puzzle, but we made it work by booking flights on both Frontier and Spirit Airlines. Countless hours went into finding the best rates and schedules to ensure everyone arrived on time. We even had to book flights while on the field during practice. It was a whirlwind, but seeing our team arrive together in Vegas was worth every minute!

**Fundraising Efforts**

Our journey to Vegas started long before we boarded those planes. Fundraising was key to making this trip a reality. From bingo boards and concession stands, to sponsorship drives and community events, our team rallied together to raise the necessary funds. The dedication and hard work of our players, parents, and community members were inspiring.

**Staying Together**

We booked our stay across a few hotels that could accommodate our large group. The excitement was palpable as we checked in and settled into our rooms. Knowing we had a comfortable home base made all the difference. The camaraderie built during this time was invaluable, and the memories made are ones we will cherish forever.

**Team Dinners and Bonding**

What’s a trip to Vegas without some delicious food? We enjoyed team dinners that brought everyone together. We indulged in classics like White Castle and had a blast exploring the diverse culinary scene Vegas has to offer. Each meal was an opportunity to bond, share laughs, and fuel up for the big games ahead.

**Conquering The Strip and Beyond**

Our adventures didn’t stop at the football field. We made the most of our time in Vegas by exploring the famous Strip. One highlight was riding the tallest Ferris wheel at The LINQ, where we enjoyed breathtaking views of the city. Walking the Strip was an adventure in itself, with neon lights and bustling crowds creating an unforgettable atmosphere. The boys were in Aww of the beautiful show girls and magicians. We even took a day trip to visit the iconic Hoover Dam, marveling at its grandeur and taking in the stunning views and its rich history.

**Championship Glory**

Of course, the main event was the West Coast National Championships. Our team played with heart, determination, and a fierce desire to win. Each game brought us closer together, and the support from our traveling fans was incredible. When the final whistle blew and we emerged as champions, the joy and pride were overwhelming. We did it!

**A Trip to Remember**

This trip to Vegas was more than just a championship win; it was a testament to our team’s unity, resilience, and spirit. From the early morning fundraising events to the late-night celebrations, every moment was a step toward victory. We faced challenges, embraced opportunities, and came out stronger as a team.

Thank you to everyone who supported us along the way. Your contributions, encouragement, and belief in our team made this possible. Here’s to many more adventures and victories in the future!

Go Unity! It’s about being United as ONE💕
